We Sponsor Local Junior Football Team in Perfect Match

We are extending our role in supporting the local community by sponsoring Tipton Town FC Juniors for the 2020/21 season. The Society first sponsored Tipton Town FC Juniors for the 2019/20 season, which helped establish the club.

We have a long tradition of supporting local grassroots football having sponsored Tipton Town FC 1st
team for a number of years. This included when the team had its famous run in the FA Cup in 2010.

Richard Newton, CEO of the Tipton said: “As a building society, it’s important for the Tipton to support local community sports. Our sponsorship will help the club fund kit and equipment for the junior team whilst helping youngsters get involved in playing sport. We already have a proud tradition of supporting Tipton Town FC including the club’s historic run in the FA Cup in 2010”.

Daniel Fox, Manager of Tipton Town FC Juniors said: “ The Tipton has championed grassroots football in our local community for many years. This latest sponsorship of the junior team means they are in effect supporting two generations of players with their sporting journey. The Tipton were the sponsors of Tipton Town FC when they had their historic run in the FA Cup, and in fact one of the players from that season, Ricky Baker now has his son Tyler playing in the junior team”.
