Alzheimer's Society announced as 2017 charity partner

This year, Staff have chosen Alzheimer's Society as the 2017 charity partner.

Alzheimer’s Society is the UK’s leading dementia support and research charity which funds research into the cause, care, cure and prevention of all types of dementia.

Emma Dowler, Community Fundraiser for Alzheimer’s Society, says: "We're delighted The Tipton has decided to support us this year. The money raised will help us provide care and support for people living with dementia and allow us to fund research for a cure for tomorrow. Our research shows that 850,000 people in the UK have a form of dementia with 15,000 people living with dementia in the Black Country alone. Our services will give them opportunities to be active in their own communities and to live well with dementia."
